Draft text — review before activation

Cookies and storage

Version dated 9 October 2026

1. What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored by the browser. TABEB also uses browser storage: localStorage for the selected language and sessionStorage for some login sessions. These mechanisms are distinct from cookies.

2. Session and Technical Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

Your language choice stays on this device until local storage is cleared. Some sessions are stored in sessionStorage for the tab session; browser restoration may extend their presence. Arabic text direction follows the selected language. You can clear this data in your browser settings; this may reset your language or require you to sign in again.

3. Performance and Third-Party Cookies

Optional analytics and advertising trackers must be enabled only after your explicit choice when consent is required. Their purpose, provider and lifetime must be explained before activation. Tracker consent is separate from health data consent.
